Job Description

Teva Pharmaceuticals is looking to fill a Warehouse Supervisor role in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is responsible for monitoring and directing the activities and staff of the warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control and other functions.  Ensures that employees have the tools, resources and training needed to perform work in compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures.


Job Responsibilities & Duties:

All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.

 Responsible for ensuring a productive and efficient work environment is created and maintained while managing the daily performance and development of direct reports.
 Responsible for timely and secure receipt, storage and transfer of materials.
 Responsible for managing the inventory of raw materials, packaging components and released finished goods in an organized and timely manner.
 Responsible for conducting cycle counting and physical inventory as required.
 Responsible for ensuring compliance with DEA regulations for export and domestic shipments.
 Responsible for executing assigned continuous improvement initiatives
 Responsible for writing, reviewing and/or approving Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, etc. as required.
 Responsible for supporting and assisting with investigations and initiating resolution as needed.
 Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments.  
 Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Record instructions.
 Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned.


 Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
 Prefer Bachelors degree or equivalent
 Minimum 5 years warehousing experience in a manufacturing and/or packaging environment required; pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food processing industry experience preferred.
 Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required.


 Computer proficiency with comprehensive working knowledge of MS Office products, Learning Management Systems (LMS), ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and manufacturing/quality systems such as Trackwise and Qdocs.
 Communicate effectively with excellent written and oral communication skills.
 Self-directed with ability to organize and prioritize work.
 Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and provide coaching, mentoring or encouragement to help others improve their knowledge or skills.
 Ability to motivate, influence and lead others with and/or without direct supervisory authority.
 Ability to positively manage conflict, provide difficult feedback and negotiate resolution.
 Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships between teams, departments and business units.
 Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision making.
