Ability to work in a sedentary position utilizing computer, mouse, keyboard, and phone for portions of the day. Ability to travel across campus for meetings and classes.

Typically days: Monday – Friday with additional hours as workload demands.

The College of Health Sciences is seeking a creative, detailed-oriented speech-language pathologist to serve as the Telehealth Support Services Coordinator for the Center for Telehealth Education, Research and Outreach.

The coordinator, in consultation with the Center Director, will be responsible for 1) marketing and managing the interprofessional Telehealth Graduate Certificate including some course instruction, 2) growing our telehealth fee for service clinic including expanding current telehealth services within the judicial system, and 3) assisting with overall program development and evaluation of the Center, which will include research and grant-related activities.

The position also will include direct delivery of speech-language services via telehealth including services to clients located in a federal medical center. A pioneer in interprofessional telerehabilitation, the Center for Telehealth boasts three state of the art telehealth rooms, in-house IT support, and established relationships with healthcare agencies and school districts across the Commonwealth.

The College of Health Sciences is home to undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders and an in-house speech-language clinic. For the second consecutive year, the University of Kentucky has been recognized as a “Great College to Work For” by ModernThink.
