Specific shifts to be agreed on with the General Aviation Services Supervisor. Schedule adjustments subject to team and seasonal needs.

Job Summary

You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with the university.

The General Aviation Services Coordinator is responsible for the performance of general aviation tenant services, and the maintenance and repair of facilities and grounds at the west general aviation campus – WestLEX. This position performs a variety of tasks necessary to ensure outstanding customer service to our general aviation community, efficient operability of facilities and equipment, and assures the safety and compliance of grounds. A strong candidate will have a demonstrated interest in the aviation industry and possess the ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships, learn quickly, and carry out tasks in accordance with regulations.

This position is a perfect opportunity for the aspirating aviation professional or long time aficionado. The part time schedule allows flexibility to manage other responsibilities or activities while still gaining knowledge and hands on experience in the fields of airport operations, airport compliance, and tenant services.
