Job Description

 

Teva is searching for a Sr. Project Manager IV to join our team in Cincinnati, OH!

The Project Manager IV has overall responsibility and accountability for end to end planning, coordination and execution of high priority supply projects within the site to achieve and support both local and global initiatives and goals.  Key projects included are (but not limited to): New Product Launches, Site Transfers Alternate Materials, and Pack tech projects. Central point of contact for global strategic projects.

 

You will:

  • Be responsible for all new high priority site transfers, launches and material change projects/ planning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to successful delivery of assigned projects to time, cost and quality in accordance with Teva strategy and priorities.
  • Develop, Manage, facilitate and maintain all relevant project documentation and content leveraging Project Management systems and tools.
  • Develop best in class project strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders, gaining agreement to the project plan and timelines, to enable efficiency and excellence in launch execution through to successful project completion. 
  • Ensure that the roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, understood and that the capability exists to fulfil the responsibilities across project teams.
  • Collaborate across different departments and coordinates with other PMs (MST/ R&D, Engineering, QC) to drive solutions, timelines, and accountability.
  • Lead multiple groups within the site to ensure strategic initiatives are executed accordingly to an agreed upon projected time line. Ensure that a project flows efficiently from step to step, and between departments. 
  • Lead and participate in monthly meetings and calls.
  • Ensure that different market requirements are implemented correctly and on time throughout project to secure successful project completion.
  • Resolve any issues that may hinder the successful completion of the project. Escalate to senior management when risks are visible, providing details such as cost, timing and capacity to support decisions.
  • Manage activities and communicate to keep launches, site transfers and other projects on track
  • Work with the key stakeholders to prepare, maintain and coordinate the project plans based on various inputs including: Project information, strategy, demand forecast, regulatory and manufacturing/packaging plans.
  • Oversee project plans while ensuring alignment with the site objectives, KPIs and market requirements.

Qualifications

  • Completed BS degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management of multiple complex projects required.
  • An understanding of regulatory and quality aspects for Pharmaceuticals, Food or Medical Device industries required.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification strongly preferred.
  • Good understanding of project management, procurement, planning and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to lead cross functional, matrixed project teams and gain buy-in required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a good knowledge of the materials/products in specific portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and RA requirements within the manufacturing and packaging environments for pharmaceuticals, Biologics, Food or Medical Device.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical processing, equipment, and data collection systems.
  • Understanding of supply chain including purchasing and negotiating processes.
  • Good comprehension of market behaviors and characteristics, in particular related to the pharmaceutical business strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of financial functions required.
