Position Description:

Position Purpose

The Senior Manager, TA Operations leads the TA Coordinator team responsible for pre-hire activities and overall talent experience for our product facility leaders and all non-product facility talent. This enthusiastic leader will work at the intersection of systems, process and people to identify opportunities for improved efficiency in the hiring process and partner cross-functionally to build strategies and implement change to create a more consumer-like candidate experience.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the strategy for and provide oversight to the team responsible for talent experiences between interview and onboarding for our product facility leaders and all non-product facility talent
  • Build a strategic approach to innovate the talent experience with a focus on efficient processes and engaging touchpoints that introduce talent to The Home Depot’s culture
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve hiring roadblocks and build and iterate on technology, process and experience solutions that prevent them in the future and expedite hiring with a focus on supporting the business while providing a best-in-class candidate experience
    • Support communications and consistency across a wide array of disparate functions and levels, from professional leaders to entry-level talent
    • Interface with executive and business teams to understand the different businesses within Home Depot and tailor procedures to best accommodate their needs
    • Cultivate strong partnerships with industry peers; extract actionable insights and implement best practices through strong change management behaviors
    • Devise and implement analytics and metrics to measure the success of the strategy, provide a base from which to constantly improve, and enable quality decisions
    • Lead, develop and inspire a high performing and diverse team of associates

       Nature and Scope

      • Position typically reports to a Senior Director or Director of Talent Acquisition
      • Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others and developing people leaders. In addition to personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of team members.

        Environmental Job Requirements
        Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

        Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
