Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior HR Change Management Analyst is responsible for supporting change management strategy and execution for HR programs and initiatives. This role will support a team focused on the people side of change for changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structure as applicable. The primary focus will be creating and implementing change management plans that minimize associate resistance and maximize associate engagement for an enterprise HR systems initiative.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensures project priorities parallel business priorities
- Works with the HR business liaison to document the business case for new requests to support system/process request for use in the prioritization process
- Defines and documents business activities for the overall system implementation project plan
- Manages the business component of the overall system implementation project plan
- Facilitates business requirements definition and functional specifications meetings ensuring that the end solution meets the business requirements
- Defines and maps HR processes
- Develops functional requirements to meet business objectives
- Partners with IT to ensure understanding and translation into technical requirements
- Ensures that all system and process impacts are identified and transitioned to change management, training and knowledgebase teams in a timely manner
- Implements services changes including leading the testing and deployment of systems and services and the transition of staff and services
- Ability to take an issue, then plan and deliver a solution using own initiative, with little guidance
- Ability to quickly identify project risks and mitigate accordingly

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years
Physical Requirements:
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).
Additional Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
PROSCI or related change management certifications
4+ years change management experience developing and implementing change management practices (i.e. impact analysis, business readiness, adoption and sustainability)
Understanding of change management methodologies
Communicate Effectively
Project Management and Organizational Skills
Enterprise HR or Retail Business Experience
Strong track record of designing communications for system implementations
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Organized
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects
Good project management and strategic planning abilities
Comfortable training end users in one-on-one and group settings
Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
Ability to work independently, lead teams and interact with various levels of management
Excellent computer skills and proficiency with process mapping software programs are required
