In this role, the Senior Director Client Services & Product Support plays a critical role designed to ensure the "Flawless Filing" of ADP's Payroll and Tax clients. You will identify, prioritize, and drive the execution of ADP's Tax profile strategy. You will need to have a deep understanding of the internal workings of ADP and our Client's tax issues. This position reports directly into the Senior Vice President/GM.

Your focus will be on the accuracy of Client's Profile credentials and ADP's authorization to file our Client's taxes. In addition, working with our Agency Relations department to help formulate the strategy and partnership with Agencies to prioritize profile requirements, electronic tax filings and data exchanges.  There will be no shortage of new questions you'll receive, which will keep things interesting, and our top-ranked training will help to set you up for success!

What you’ll do and what you can expect on a typical day:

  • You will work with senior leadership from each business unit of ADP to define and support execution of our initiative to "Flawlessly File" our clients’ taxes
  • Collect and leverage learnings from across the organization to help inform our roadmap initiatives to create the best client experience and increase market share
  • Influence the prioritization of other business unit's road maps to prevent or resolve clients issues upstream from data exchange to notification to workflows to fall out resolution
  • You will work with Implementation Teams across ADP to make sure that Client's profiles are set up accurately
  • As clients expand into new jurisdictions ensure that their profiles are accurate
  • Mature and enhance data exchange with agencies to identify client issues prior to filings
  • Quickly resolve any filing that was rejected by the agency and prevent it from rejecting in the future
  • You will lead the implementation of approved projects. Monitor, gather and analyze data on projects in process, communicate performance against established project milestones, and make follow up recommendations



  • At least 12 years of quality experience focused on client service
  • Exceptional interpersonal collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work in a heavily matrixed organization and to influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment, focused on achieving results
  • Ability to quickly understand complex processes and varying stakeholder agendas and motivations
  • High resilience


A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:


  • Experience noted above, OR
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.



Bonus points for these:

  • Prior experience in Tax Client Service leadership roles
  • Prior Payroll Client Service experience
  • Knowledge of the interworking's of ADP and strong network connections to help influence Leaders
  • Proven product requirement gathering, development, organizational readiness, and adoption
