Job Summary

The UK Sports Medicine Research Institute, state-of-the-art research center with the mission to conduct interdisciplinary research to optimize the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and performance,
is seeking a student who is passionate about social media content creation and management. This position will assist the UK College of Health Sciences director of communications and SMRI leadersihp with managing the centers digital presence across multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube). The social media assistant will be responsible for maintaining the SMRIs social media editorial calendar, creating and posting compelling content that communicates the SMRIs brand story to different audiences, scheduling and managing all social content, and providing insight about social media ROI through monthly metric reports. Experience operating DSLR cameras and with Adobe software like Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro is preferred. Some graphic design experience is preferred but not required. If you have design experience please attach a sample or portfolio. Finalists for the position will be asked to complete a writing test and submit drafts of potential content for our multiple platforms.
