POSITION SUMMARY
- A sleep trainee develops competency in and performs basic sleep testing procedures and associated interventions. The sleep trainee works under direct supervision of a sleep technologist. Candidates hired into this position will train to become a Sleep Technologist.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - Prefers applicants with current allied healthcare credential, examples include but are not limited to CNA, EMT, Paramedic, and Certified Athletic Trainer
  - Must be willing to obtain RPSGT credential within 6-12 months of hire into the Sleep Center Trainee position (more information can be found at http://www.brpt.org/default.asp?contentID=34)
  - Basic Life Support (CPR) required within 30 days of hire
- Educational Requirements
  - Preference given to applicants with allied health degree

  - None
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - PC experience required
