Job Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree Required:
Bachelor Degree

Minimum Years of Experience:
2 year(s) of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business fields

Certification(s) Required:

Inactive or active CPA or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates some knowledge of, and/or proven record of success with, public accounting audit practices and procedures, and US GAAP, US GAAS and PCAOB standards, preferably for a global network or professional services firms and/or in a service delivery environment, emphasizing the following areas:

  • Checking of basic audit work reports produced by associates, utilizing technology to perform and manage work;
  • Utilizing the AC's process workflow and workflow management tools;
  • Utilizing Confirmations Reference Guide (CRG) and other working practice documents to stay current on process and respond to any process changes;
  • Establishing high-quality standards are met by providing timely and detailed review of all deliverables;
  • Checking all tasks in the Confirmation Management System and all checkpoints via AC Workflow tool; and,
  • Communicating effectively when relaying ideas/issues to team members, including providing feedback via coaching notes, escalating issues, and notifying management of resource available and/or constraints.

Demonstrates some abilities and/or proven record of success, preferably for a global network or professional services firms and/or in a service delivery environment, emphasizing the following areas:

  • Understanding and utilization of technical skills regarding the applicable accounting and reporting standards and audit procedures;
  • Training and mentoring newer Quality Checkers and Confirmation Specialists on External Confirmations Processes;
  • Interacting with professionals globally with diverse experiences and subject matter specialties; and,
  • Participating in a collaborative team environment, with a focus on knowledge sharing and thought leadership.
