The Senior Project Manager manages the day-to-day operational aspects of multiple concurrent medium to high complexity projects and/or program(s).  The Senior Project Manager will apply extensive knowledge and principles of project management to effectively plan, organize and motivate resources to ensure that project objectives are achieved within defined scope, schedule and budget.  Risk identification and mitigation is a crucial component of this role as is the ability to effectively communicate across senior leadership, project teams and key stakeholder groups. The Senior Project Manager will mentor and lead Project Managers in all aspects of project delivery and core PMO elements (e.g., methodology, tools, people, etc.)


Project Management - Knowledge of the principles, methods and tools for planning developing, scheduling, coordinating, reporting and managing projects:

  • Applies extensive knowledge and principles of project management methodology to lead the development, maintenance and improvements of project delivery documentation and RTS methodology. 

Project Leadership - Displays initiative, effort and commitment in carrying out the organization’s project goals and objectives:

Project Resource Management – In collaboration with RTS departments, estimates, fulfills, and oversees project resource requirements:

  • Identify need and availability of resources for large complex projects
  • Assist with allocation of resources
  • Monitor, track and adjust resource commitments throughout project
  • Identify implication to project goals due to resource changes
  • Assess RTS wide project implications due to resource change, present findings and recommend solutions

Project Planning – Establishes a systematic course of action for self and others to ensure accomplishments of a specific objective.  Sets priorities, goals and timetables to achieve maximum productivity.

  • Apply project planning capabilities to multiple concurrent high complexity projects
  • Approach work in a methodical manner
  • Plan and schedule tasks so that work is completed on time
  • Develop or use systems to organize and keep track of information (e.g., “to-do” lists and calendars)
  • Set priorities with an appropriate sense of what is most important
  • Plan with an appropriate and realistic sense of the time constraints
  • Keep clear, detailed records of completed and pending activities related to project objectives
  • Estimate resources needed for project completion
  • Allocate time and resources effectively and coordinate efforts with all affected parties
  • Keep all parties informed of progress and all relevant changes to project timeline
  • Anticipate and document risks to project completion and develop contingency plans to address them
  • Take necessary corrective action required to resolve project issues
  • Provide direction and support to the project team members by planning and facilitating project meetings, organizing and assigning work
  • Orchestrate go live activities

Project Lifecycle Management – Manages all aspects of project to meet scope, cost, time and quality objectives:

  • Independently manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple concurrent large complexity projects by planning, organizing and motivating resources, to established project activities
  • Accurately and timely document and communicate initial project request, project approach and stage approval document (PASA)
  • Maintain accurate and timely project and resource data in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement to create project budget and manage project financials
  • Manage project scope (e.g., change request)
  • Ensure project meets RTS quality standards
  • Execute project while focusing on results and desired outcomes

Customer Relations – Manages the interactions between the customer and the rest of the project team to accomplish project goals.

  • Be accessible, available, and responsive to the customer
  • Show respect for the customer at all times
  • Advocate appropriately for the customer to others and for others to the customer
  • Create mutual interest for continued collaboration
  • Seek customer feedback about project performance

  • Administrative tracking and reporting of Innotas time entry adherence
  • Educating team members on RTS Project Methodology
  • Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • 7+ years of experience in managing projects within an IT environment required (experience with ERP implementations and/or Scrum/Agile methodology is a plus).
  • 3+ years managing enterprise level Microsoft D365 Implementations preferred.
  • 1+ years of direct project delivery experience (e.g., Systems Analyst, Developer, etc.) required
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding Project Management Skills (Planning, Organization, Multitasking, Communication, Cost Management, Scope/Risk/Issue Management, Vendor Management, etc.) and knowledge of corresponding tools
