Senior Production Supervisor (Monday-Friday, 1:30pm-10:30pm)

Teva Pharmaceuticals is looking to fill a Senior Production Supervisor for our site in North Wales, PA. This role will supervise the Distribution Center to ensure timely receipt of finished goods and/or shipment of products to meet corporate goals and achieve a high level of customer service. Directly supervise up to 20 material handlers and indirectly manage up to 40 material handlers. Assist Associate Director of Distribution and interface with other departments to achieve productivity and quality goals.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30pm-10:30pm
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervises the activities of material handlers to ensure adequate coordination of the Distribution Center workload and meet expected customer service levels
Supervises the activities of material handlers to ensure adequate coordination of SOP, cGMP and Safety training as well as ensure SOPs remain current
Conduct daily staff meetings
Supervises the performance of direct reports:
o Conduct performance evaluations and merit reviews,
o Coach/mentor direct reports, set goals
o Schedule staff to meet business requirements
Ensure Distribution Center automated equipment is operating properly
Coordinate with contractors to resolve issues and implement enhancements on material handling equipment (MHE)
Ensure lift equipment maintenance programs are current
Ensure Distribution Center Warehouse Management System is operating properly and adequately
Coordinate with IT and contractors to resolve issues and implement enhancements
Collaborate with Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Security Operations, Safety, Health, Environment (EHS) to achieve common goals
Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
Support Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives
Possible weekend work when necessary
Other duties, as assigned, or as business needs require.
Participate in monthly Operations Reports
Participate in system validation and testing, when necessary
Participate in budgeting and procurement
Apply and pass state examinations to be eligible to serve as Designated Representative for the site.
Interviewing and hiring staff for vacant positions
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Minimum 5 years of supervision experience in an automated distribution/warehouse system environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with start-ups, implementation of systems, Operational Excellence/Six Sigma/Lean Distribution.
Bachelor of Science in Logistics or Business Administration preferred.
