Job Description

We are currently hiring a Senior Product Manager, Commerce for our Business System Group. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the desire to work with teams who are passionate about eCommerce and creating amazing customer experiences.

Reporting to the Group Product Manager for Commerce, you will own and advance the LMI Commerce vision and strategic roadmap based on the organizations objectives and customer needs. You are internal customer focused and will collaborate with the BUs (product), Functional and Engineering teams for successful execution. You have the analytical capabilities to dive deep and uncover insights and identify opportunities and define strategies that lead to accelerated growth. You are detail-oriented, capable of writing cogent requirement documentation, and excited to bring products to market and support growth opportunities for LogMeIn.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating high-quality and detailed requirements, based on clear business case and priority, for necessary changes to internal systems and business process - with an eye toward standardizing on LogMeIn practices.

  • Will work closely with platform product management and software development teams to execute on system changes and data migration - ensuring clear, common understanding of requirements and business outcomes across all functions.

  • Along with Commerce leadership, hold the vision for the commerce systems and possess the ability to evangelize that vision across the organization.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance and Business Units to deeply understand customer needs and use the feedback to drive customer satisfaction.

  • Partner with Commerce Engineering leads to balance trade-offs between short term value &long-termimpact to deliver awesome results.

  • Form and maintain authentic and trustworthy relationships with business stakeholders, engineering managers, engineers, and cross functional teams.

  • Collaborates with the stakeholders and the engineering teams to understand the requirements and prioritize and sequence the Commerce Backlog to provide the most customer value.

  • Provide detailed requirements to architects, engineering managers and engineering leads to ensure clear understanding of expected deliverables.

  • Build subject matter expertise in your area

  • Review API and developer documentation for evaluation and implementation purposes

  • Be a clear, effective and active communicator fostering a true team environment where sharing ideas and plans with stakeholders, both inside and outside the organization.

  • Drive internal process improvements across teams, remove roadblocks, and deliver on high-impact projects with a focus on efficiency, performance, and quality

  • Own and manage backlogs &prioritization

  • Participates in product roadmap planning and reviews, sprint and release planning, demos

  • Responsible for the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Has authority to accept or reject work done and manages cross-product dependencies

  • Collaborate with teams in other offices and time zones

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related industry experience in a product management role in high tech or software -- SAAS experience is preferred

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines without constant supervision

  • High attention to detail and efficient problem solver while being able to thrive in a multi-task environment

  • Possess an intense curiosity a passion for deeply exploring problems and challenging assumptions

  • Experience with eCommerce, Subscription-based & Telecom Billing

  • Understanding of highly technical products and is experienced at influencing engineers and making product trade-offs.

  • Demonstrated track record of success working with broad cross-functional teams with ability to sell ideas and plans to internal constituencies, executives, customers, analysts, and partners.

  • Superb verbal & written communication, organizational and project management skills

  • Proven ability to solve hard problems and have experience with business considerations for complex software products.

  • Experience operating in an Agile environment and proven ability to juggle multiple projects at one time, and work collaboratively across functional areas

  • Highly self-motivated, passionate team oriented individual

  • You have a team-first attitude and have developed techniques to ensure your teams are happy, motivated and productive

  • Willingness to travel periodically

  • B.S. or M.S. in in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field is required; MBA preferred
