Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Manager of HR Systems is responsible for leading a team of Systems Analysts and contributes individually to manage the data integrity and user-security of Workday and other HR Systems. This role will work closely with our Technology partners to minimize risk and ensure compliance of essential security protocols. This position works closely with the HR Leadership Team (and other Senior Leaders), HR Functional and Technology Business Partners and other internal customers of HR systems.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
15% Monitor and guide work activity for team. Oversee the coordination, organization and appropriate distribution of work.
30% Recruit, select, orient, train, guide and develop resources; Manage and monitor team performance against SLAs and performance goals.
30% Utilize standard project development methodologies to facilitate delivery of HR System solutions. Manage complex projects from inception to completion, including change management, end user training and support. Provide Subject Matter Expertise and support to HR and other groups as needed.
25% Lead the establishment and maintenance of internal Standard Operating Processes for areas of responsibility. Establish and maintain methods and practices to facilitate communication and integration across key relationships to accomplish goals.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Typically reports to Director HR Operations
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
