The Home Depot is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their GBPD - Crown Bolt finance team.  Crown Bolt is an important business partner and subsidiary to The Home Depot and Global Brands & Product Development. The ideal candidate will analyze, influence, and drive improved financial performance specifically related to product pricing and margins.  This highly visible role will provide product driven analytics and benchmarking, as well as serve as a key cross-functional financial partner that propels data-informed decisions with Crown Bolt leadership.  Strong excel, presentation and problem-solving skills are necessary, while knowledge of Tableau and SQL are preferred.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Serves as a resource to assigned client in area of expertise.
• Gathers and compiles raw data; conducts research for industry trends and benchmarks; and normalizes data to be incorporated into a centralized data format.
• Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and prepares cost analysis.
• Define data definitions and documents data limitations. Prepares spreadsheets for data analysis; prepares reports with charts and graph, mailing lists, maps and ad hoc requests. May accompany Manager to meetings to assist with presentations.
• Provides recommendations based on findings and analysis. Provides input on policies and procedures. Participates in department and interdepartmental projects. May serve as Team Lead. May train Analysts.
