Job Description

Position Summary

 

The Senior Director is responsible and accountable for managing the development and implementation of the Teva Global Quality System across regions, sites, and supporting organizations, such as the global quality and compliance audit program. The position will be specifically responsible for leading the following key activities within the Quality Systems management program:

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lifecycle management (draft, revise, review, issue, implement)  of the Corporate Standards, Policies, and Guidance Documents
  • Quality Risk Management activities
  • Management of Supplier Quality activities
  • Complaints, Recalls, PhV Signal Detection and QAMs (Quality Alignment Meetings,) and MACs (Market Action Committee) 
  • Quality Metrics
  • Data Integrity Program
  • Ability to lead in a complex and fast changing environment. Demonstrate the ability to develop and get buy in and support for strategic plans across all layers of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing. Must be able to communicate with impact to senior management and the broader organization
  • A self-starter, able to work across a matrix structure while requiring minimal supervision
  • Global mindset and experience working in a global, multi-national pharmaceutical company
  • Other duties as assigned (i.e.; support to inspection readiness activities)

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Science, Healthcare or an equivalent through education and experience

 

Experience

  • At least 12 years experience in a Quality or Operations role in a GMP environment
  • At least 3 years in leading direct reports in a site Quality unit
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of cGMP, Risk Management, and in the implementation of Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems  
  • Expert knowledge in regulatory standards in Pharmaceutical Industry, including requirements and expectations of global regulatory bodies, in particular but not limited to MFDS, PMDA, USFDA, and EU authorities

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel throughout the region at least 40 %
