In this role, you'll be responsible for regulatory matter management exams/audits, related legal advice, and collaboration with Compliance, the Business, and other stakeholders; legal/regulatory advice on new products and initiatives; team development and department management; global outreach to lawmakers, regulators, & law enforcement; and managing law enforcement requests and strategic intelligence collaboration initiatives.

For such a critical role, you will need 10+ years of related/practical legal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, and government or regulatory agency, holding positions of advancing responsibility. Relevant experience required in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing, fraud, sanctions, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption related legal work. Additional experience in consumer protection, consumer lending, blockchain/virtual currencies and/or regulatory licensing would make you stand out. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and admitted to at least one US state bar. Experience providing strategic advice to senior management. Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, prioritize, and balance risks and effectuate an appropriate course of actionhistory of experience managing and developing teams of high-performing legal professionals. You are skilled in dealing with regulators, industry peers, and outside counsel.

The on-target earnings range is $360,000 Minimum - $442,000. Midpoint to include a base salary of $200,000- $246,000, short-term incentives (30% of base) and long-term incentives (50% of base) that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
