Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst, Revenue Accounting will support monthly and quarterly accounting processes for all US product revenues including annual audit requirements and promoting and maintaining a strong control environment. In addition to key accounting deliverables, this role will also support developing the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations of daily revenue reporting and supporting commercial management requests needed to properly evaluate product growth, channel utilization and profitability.
Travel Requirements:
Individual will be need to commute to the North Wales, PA office for a portion of time through March 2020 to support transition and training until position is based full time in Parsippany, NJ; Limited to no travel once position is relocated to Parsippany.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of sales and sales reserves
- Preparation of accounting close activities including the review of new contracts, complex account reconciliations, quarterly analytics and controls
- Assistance with the preparation of accounting analysis for sales reserves - on-going and formalized month-end / quarter-end basis
- Work collaboratively with the Commercial Operations, Sales and Marketing, Pricing, Customer Administration and Accounts receivable to ensure all programs contemplated in the gross to net revenue accounting are accurate and complete
- Drive continuous improvement of the efficiency and accuracy of internal reporting measures including scorecard/flash, monthly/quarterly revenue analytics reporting, profitability reporting
- Support financial planning leads in providing forecasted and actual data related to gross to net reserves
- Verify/analyze sales, rates, wholesaler inventories, returns, in transit shipments, medicaid, and other data for accuracy and completeness to ensure appropriate reserves and resolve variances to forecast.
- Support external reporting and audit requirements
- Opportunities to collaborate and support efforts in other areas including a role that will support both Generics and Specialty Revenue Accounting and Alliance Accounting
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of US GAAP and solid accounting skills
- Demonstrates proficiency in financial analysis, reporting and interpretation of data
- Uses good analytical and data interpretation skills to analyze and resolve complex financial problems
- Ability to analyze problems, actively strategize to resolve such problems, solid organization skills, and a proven track record of process improvement and standardization
- Possesses good organization and planning skills and strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Needs to be self-motivated and possess a willingness to acquire new skills as well as an ability to teach others
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills and executive presence
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Timely communication; keeps others informed of decisions, changes, objectives, priorities and accomplishments

Education Required:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years progressive accounting experience
Experience Preferred:
- Pharmaceutical Industry Experience
- Prior revenue accounting experience
- Experience with Oracle and SAP ERP Modules
- Knowledge and experience in application of US GAAP
