Job Summary

The Scientist will plan and perform basic research in DNA repair and cancer physiology, focusing on signaling pathways and genomic stability. He/she/they will demonstrate in-depth experience with basic research practices and proven expertise with basic research techniques, such as: cell culture, DNA preparation, immunoblot analysis, cell imaging (including confocal and fluorescent microscopy). He/she/they will carefully and thoughtfully document scientific findings and chart progress according to professional/team standards and to enable sharing and publication of results. He/she/they will analyze results, prepare manuscripts and figures, help with grant submissions and plan research projects accordingly. He/she/they will present research findings/progress on a regular schedule.
