Job Description
-- Has structured direct contact with clients and limited authority for negotiation -- Has general knowledge of assigned products and services -- Has limited work experience involving basic concepts and procedures -- Has general awareness of business, financials, products/services and the market -- Complexity is limited (territory/account, products/services or sales process) -- Has very limited authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms -- Relies on manager to provide planning and manage resources

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

Bachelors degree required, preferably in related field

At least one year of full time, documented business to business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience preferred

Level of the role will commensurate based on years of experience and performance critera

Proven record of accomplishments in this specific market towards meeting established objectives

Well-developed written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred

New product launch experience preferred

Broad therapeutic area experience preferred

Candidates must be able to successfully pass background, motor and drug screening

Ability to travel as required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel

Valid US drivers license and acceptable driving record required

Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds


Territory boundaries include:

North: Victoria

South: Brownsville

East: Corpus Christi

West: Laredo
