Position Description:
Position Purpose:
The Repair Sales and Resolution Tier 1 role provides quality professional customer service that consistently meets or exceeds Company standards of excellence and customer expectations and performs tasks associated with the function of The Home Depot’s repair business. The position is directly responsible for taking inbound and making outbound phone calls to customers and stores to provide and gather information about repair units in progress, and manual entry of repair warranty claims. Position is also directly responsible for meeting and/or exceeding warranty, call quality, and various related department goals.


Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  • 45%- Customer interaction involving inbound customer concerns and their resolution.
  • 45%- Reviewing warranty claims with OEM's to recover warranty revenue.
  • 10%- Special projects and other activities as assigned by leadership.
    Nature and Scope:
    Reports to a Supervisor, Repair Center.
    This position has no direct reports.

    Environmental Job Requirements:
    Environment:
    Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

    Travel:
    Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
