Job Summary

The Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center is seeking a surveillance
program coordinator to assist both Research Core and Data Security and Management Core directs, principal investigators, grant project directors, and surveillance data managers in the coordination of day-to-day surveillance program operation.

The coordinator will assist in all phases of the surveillance project coordination for surveillance projects under multiple funding streams including Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program, including the day-to-day program activities; participate in surveillance program staff meetings and updates; assist with managing data access for staff; coordinate with the data enterprise center on the adherence to data access and security protocols; assisting with data or study modifications to IRB protocol; attend meetings with stakeholders, and track surveillance; assist with process and outcome reporting to grant funders; and collaborate on annual grant performance reports, project result publications, and presentation; and collaborate with major stakeholders and co-investigators on surveillance data and prevention strategy outputs and outcomes.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Excel, MS windows; Zoom; strong communication skills; organization; and attention to details.

Preferred Education/Experience

Master’s degree plus two or more years of project coordination experience preferred.

Driver’s license preferred.
