Physical Requirements | This position requires regularly lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; working in confined spaces; occasionally sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing). Also involves some risk of injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to radiation, burns, cuts/punctures, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people. |

Job Summary | The Radiology Technologist Senior/General will provide diagnostic imaging for patients to assist the patient’s physician in expediting needed care. Job duties include: perform or assist in procedures per department protocols, maintain a clean and safe work environment, utilize proper procedures for identifying images, patients and marking images correctly for interpretation, and order exams that match the procedures being performed. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate will have extensive customer service experience and be able to communicate in a calm and helpful manner during stressful and/or crisis situations. CPR, PACS, RIS, KY State Radiation Certification is also desired. |
