Job Summary | The Radiology Technologist Senior/General/On-Call will provide diagnostic imaging for patients to assist the patient’s physician in expediting needed care. Quality and safety, as well as efficiency and service excellence are the major job responsibilities for this position. Essential duties include: perform or assist in procedures per department protocols, utilize proper procedures for identifying images, patients and marking images correctly for interpretation, and ordering exams that match the procedures being performed. Customer service is essential, and this position will address patient needs with age specific criteria, from neonates to geriatrics. Call is required for this position, and the incumbent must meet the call back standards established for General Radiology. This position will also assist in a Quality Assurance review to maintain professional standards for themselves and student technologists that they are called upon. |
