Job Description
PWC IT is responsible for the success of our central technology efforts in our federated business model.

The CSO
- Development team is directly responsible for all development activity including the provision of resources to Global IT Programmes.

This includes the management of staff, management of service contracts from 3rd Party development shops and the adherence to standards.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:
Extensive knowledge in the technical domains of application development and also a broad understanding of the business functions to solve critical and strategic business technology projects. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft-based technologies including ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, SSRS, etc. Knowledge in forecasting roadmaps and strategic directions of projects; project prioritization.


Skills Preferred:
Demonstrated ability to: Develop of best practices that will be used by the development teams across all IT projects. Lead a group of development resources including Business Analysts and be responsible for their technical domain development . Address conflicting requests for resources by the various business organizations. Support the management of project risk across multiple business organizations by meeting the competing demands of various mission critical projects. Will interact with other development leads, internal business group leaders, development team and offshore resources. Prior experience with development patterns including MVC, MVVM, etc. Prior experience as a technical lead and a project manager. Prior experience with global applications.
