Job Description

Professionals in PwC Public Sector LLP may be subject to a government security investigation and may need to meet related eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The Public Sector Practice Contracts team is responsible for performing critical contract formation and administration functions for the PwC Washington Federal Practice.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6 months

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree and demonstrated U.S. Citizenship are required

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates some knowledge of the following areas related to the facilitation and management of Federal government contracts; electronic proposals; contract file systems; government contract audits and close-outs, including the following:
- Submitting electronic proposals and solicitation clarification questions, creating and monitoring all active contracts, and maintaining formal contract records and U.S. Government correspondence using physical and electronic contract file systems;
- Responding to requests for information in the possession of the government contracts department;
- Facilitating the execution and distribution of U.S. government contract agreements; reviewing solicitations, nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracts in accordance with the Firm's federal contract negotiation and solicitation review guidance;
- Drafting and executing routine correspondence, transmittal letters, and in the preparation of contractual related correspondence for submission to the Partners, Client Service teams, and Contractors for review and signature.

Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success to support the U.S. Government and Federal customers, and internal Firm Partners and Principals
- or comparable senior leadership within the professional services industry, including the following:
- Relaying basic contract information and administration issues;
- Supporting the efforts of the Contracts Department Management, Client Service professionals, and Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Security functions;
- Supporting the management of contracts and subcontracts so that they are readily accessible, maintained, and stored physically and electronically in accordance with the Firm's records retention policies. Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently within a fast-paced environment, including:
- Effective customer service orientation and organization skills while paying close attention to detail;
- Utilization of proactive listening and interpersonal skills to maintain a high level of productivity in an environment that places high priority upon success-driven teamwork;
- Verbal and written communications expressed in a clear and concise manner, utilizing Microsoft Office suite, Lotus Notes and other technologies.
