Program Manager, Customer Lifecycle Marketing

**Position Summary:**







This position will play a pivotal role on the Staples Dotcom Customer Lifecycle Marketing team. The role of the Marketing Program Manager is to develop marketing campaigns aimed at specific customer segments in support of the Staples.com business. These campaigns are focused specifically on driving customer loyalty and retention. The Marketing Program Manager will work closely with multiple teams including the customer analytics team, creative agency, marketing operations and digital media to execute marketing plans. The role also works closely with the customer insights team to identify areas of opportunity and then devise activation plans against. We are looking for a candidate who is motivated to learn, able to adapt to new ways of thinking and believes in customer centric marketing.







**Primary Responsibilities:**










+ Identify areas for opportunity and optimization based on customer insights and campaign analysis.


+ Engage with the circulation and analytics teams to define customer segments for targeting and manage analysis and insights request process post campaign completion.


+ Assist in the development of targeted, tactical campaign plans for in market execution including messaging and creative.


+ Govern a budget and deliver monthly campaign forecasts.


+ Synthesize results to help influence future campaign strategies.


+ Manage individual campaign brief submissions throughout the formal review and approval process.


+ Oversee multiple projects across multiple teams with the ability to prioritize appropriately.


+ Provide concise feedback and direction to the creative agency regarding campaign creative and execution.


+ Build and foster strong working relationships with internal marketing partners to ensure seamless execution and consistent feedback loops.


+ Escalation management and issue resolution with ability to pull in management as necessary.


















**Qualifications**

**Qualifications Education / Experience Required:**










+ BA or BS required; 4-6 years work experience.


+ Prior experience in marketing required.








**Required Skills:**










+ Strong marketing KPI acumen.


+ Detail oriented, highly organized individual with proven project management skills.


+ Ability to work well independently and within a team setting including across multiple internal teams.


+ Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and campaign timelines.


+ Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines at one time.


+ Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook


+ Experience working with Tableau a plus.


+ Experience working with and managing agencies and/or vendors a plus.
