We’re hiring a Product Manager to join our growing team at EquipmentWatch, the leading equipment data and intelligence business serving the $200 billion heavy equipment market. This Product Manager role is newly created and will assume ownership of a major new software initiative aimed at streamlining a key workflow in construction project management.

There’s a problem today in the construction industry. EquipmentWatch has the established user base, data, and investment to solve this problem. We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to join a small, agile team that will build, test, re-build, and eventually ship a new, commercially successful product to market. As the Voice of the Customer, the Product Manager will be charged with working with the management team to chart the strategic product roadmap for launch and beyond, and for implementing that strategy at a tactical level.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

·        Work with brand leadership to create and execute strategies for maximizing the commercial potential of the designated product set, with short, medium and long-term goals.

·        Support the product strategy by developing a deep understanding of customer usage, competitor products and market trends

·        Develop clear and compelling roadmaps and priorities for each product, and support proposed strategies with detailed business case analysis for new products and product extensions.

·        Partner with the IT development team to manage and track progress on specific customer and product initiatives, from initial product concept through the full product lifecycle.

·        Partner with Product Marketing to provide thought leadership around the product set and assist with product promotion and positioning in the marketplace.

·        Serve as the voice of the customer across the organization, and be passionate about delighting customers via strong value propositions and top notch customer experience.

·        Become the resident Subject Matter Expert on designated products and markets served and support sales efforts through client presentations, product decks, RFP responses etc.

·        Track product metrics and manage to goals.


Required Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree.

·        2-5 years of experience in product management or product design, ideally within information services or data products.

·        Deep understanding of subscription data and software business models.

·        Strong project management experience and skills. Highly organized and attentive to detail.

·        Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization internally and externally.

·        Team player who brings a sense of positive energy and the ability to influence, inspire and motivate cross-functional partners across the organization.

·        Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to construct and evaluate different business model approaches to maximize ROI.


Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience in subject matter area: Heavy equipment and/or construction project management

·        Pragmatic Marketing certification

·        Advanced degree strongly preferred
