The Product Lead Manager is responsible for product planning and marketing, including managing the product throughout the product life cycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products. The Lead also works with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met, while ensuring product and marketing efforts support PwCs overall strategy and goals.

In lieu of a Bachelor Degree, 12 years of professional experience involving technology-focused process improvements, transformations, and/or system implementations

  • Determining customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information;
  • Recommending the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product changes;
  • Assessing market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products;
  • Providing source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives;
  • Providing information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests;
  • Bringing new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs, preparing return-on-investment analyses, establishing time schedules;
  • Introducing and marketing new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production; and,
  • Determining product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume, and costing special and customized orders.

Demonstrates extensive-level, abilities and/orproven success with managing the identification and addressing of client and business needs including:

  • Understanding underlying client business problems;
  • Developing and sustaining client relationships, preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials;
  • Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection;
  • Utilizing effectively written and verbal business communication skills within a professional business services environment, including interacting with clients and firm staff and/or management;
  • Communicating well with both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Possessing excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority;
  • Possessing a sound understanding of business operations and procedures;
  • Possessing proven organizational and project management skills;
  • Possessing proven leadership skills; and,
  • Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
