The Product Analyst will support product planning and marketing, including managing the product throughout the product life cycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products. The Analyst will also work with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met, while ensuring product and marketing efforts support PwCs overall strategy and goals.

Additional Educational Requirements:

In lieu of a Bachelor Degree, 12 years of professional experience involving technology-focused process improvements, transformations, and/or system implementations

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader including:

  • Determining customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information;
  • Recommending the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product changes;
  • Assessing market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products;
  • Providing source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives;
  • Providing information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests;
  • Bringing new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses and establishing time schedules;
  • Introducing and marketing new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising and production; and,
  • Determining product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume, costing special and customized orders.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in:

  • Understanding underlying client business problems;
  • Developing and sustaining client relationships, preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials;
  • Utilizing effectively written and verbal business communication skills within a professional business services environment, including interacting with clients and firm staff and/or management;
  • Communicating well with both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Possessing proven teamwork and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority;
  • Understanding business operations and procedures; and,
  • Possessing proven organizational and project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
