Job Description

Teva Pharmaceuticals is looking to fill a Procedural Documents intern role in West Chester, PA. Seeking an undergraduate or graduate student with a background in Digital Media, Library Sciences, Graphic Design, Information Systems, Communications, Math, Data Sciences, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field. The projects will result in: 1) a searchable document history that provides lineage to current procedural documentation, which can be used to support audits and inspection activities and systems decommissioning; 2) an end-user friendly website that enables users to quickly access process-related requirements and supporting tools.

 

Location:  West Chester, PA

Length: 10 Weeks. June 01 August 07

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify topics from legacy procedural documents, and map them to current documents.
  • Create and/or enter metadata to support document searches and ensure clear document lineage.
  • Ensure all documents in legacy systems are accounted for so that legacy system access is no longer required.
  • Identify related procedural documents, forms, work instructions, job aids, training materials, important links, contacts, etc.
  • Interview colleagues to determine important process relationships and real-world documentation use.
  • Design and/or implement attractive, well-organized, process-specific website designs.
Qualifications
  • The candidate must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Digital Media, Library Sciences, Graphic Design, Information Systems, Communications, Math, Data Sciences, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • This talented individual should be competent in the use of Microsoft products, such as Excel and SharePoint, should be able to create data relationships, and should be enthusiastic about good end-user experience.
  • The candidate is expected to independently review documents, setup meetings to review progress, talk to functional area representatives about their needs when following established business processes, and create/implement a flexible SharePoint template for process-specific websites.
  • Time management and communication skills are a must.
