Were looking for a Business Development Manager responsible for prospecting new Print Services business opportunities in regional markets. The Staples business model leverages existing relationships within Staples customers base to grow sales in Print & Marketing Services and provides an industry leading platform to sell new logo business.

**What youll be doing:**

As a Business Development Manager, you will research and prospect companies and schedule in-person presentations up to top level executives. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs and developing a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy that drives value for the prospect, and Staples. You will set your own appointments - typically with Marketing, Procurement, or Operational executives. You will develop tailored programs with customized pricing using a consultative selling approach. You will manage account sales and strategy as well as the account handoff process in a team selling environment. You will achieve/exceed sales targets for a defined sales and GP quota and earn uncapped commissions for all sales once off ramp period.

Our Team Selling model provides a comprehensive support structure if you are the highly skilled Print category specialist. We provide dynamic Pricing and RFP teams to assist in developing your proposition. You will have access to project managers to complete the solution implementation. Seasoned Print Account Executives will maintain the account after implementation, ensuring new business ramps as projected. You will be selling our world-class Supply Chain with an extensive fulfillment and delivery network plus Technology programs and solutions on StaplesAdvantage.com that can fulfill your customer needs.

**Qualifications :**

**Whats needed- Basic Qualifications:**

+ High School Diploma/GED required

+ Established record of success achieving sales targets

+ Demonstrated ability to consult/sell to the highest-level decision makers in large companies

+ Computer knowledge including extensive internet navigation and demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite

+ Minimum of 3 years previous sales experience

**Whats needed- Preferred Qualifications:**

+ **Bachelors degree**

+ Previous print/marketing knowledge program sales preferred

+ General knowledge of product pricing, margin, competition, and sales objectives

+ Previous experience using salesforce.com or a comparable sales tool
