Job Summary | There is an opening in Dr. Haining Zhu’s lab for a postdoctoral scholar to work on RNA metabolism, stress granules, and protein translation in the context of neurodegenerative diseases and other health conditions. The project uses protein biochemistry, cell biology and microscopic analysis, mammalian cell culture, and rodent models. Enthusiastic scientists with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Interested candidates must have a Ph.D., less than 5 years of postdoctoral experiences, and a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology. Previous experience in neurodegenerative diseases and/or cancer is a plus. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of project completion and relevant first author publications. Start date is negotiable, but ideally would be in Spring 2021. Required application materials include a current curriculum vitae and a cover letter.
