Job Summary | The Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Kentucky is seeking candidates for a post-doctoral position to work on galaxy clusters with Professor Yuanyuan Su. Experience with X-ray data analysis is desirable, but not a requirement, and candidates with broad observational experience and interest in cluster science and extragalactic astrophysics are also encouraged to apply. Applicants should have a PhD in physics, astronomy, or related field by the time of the appointment. Interested applicants should submit the following: (1) a CV, (2) a publication list (upload as Specific Request 1), (3) a summary of past research (upload as Specific Request 2), and (4) research plan (upload as Specific Request3). In addition, please provide the names and contact information for three references when prompted in the academic profile. This information will be utilized to solicit recommendation letters from your references within the employment system. The approximate start date is January 1, 2022 but is negotiable.
