Job Summary | The Physical Therapy Assistant’s (PTA’s) primary function is to perform therapy for patients who have been evaluated by a Physical Therapist. The PTA’s secondary functions include carrying out department related tasks as determined by the immediate supervisor. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, chart audits, general cleaning duties, and assisting supervisors and senior leaders in program development. The PTA is expected to adhere to all policies and procedures of the University of Kentucky HealthCare Enterprise and to act in accordance with state and federal regulations. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate will have demonstrated dependability, the ability to prioritize, and high attention to detail. The successful candidate must be a licensed PTA in the state of Kentucky or eligible for Kentucky licensure. |

Preferred Education/Experience | Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required for this position. |
