Physical Requirements

Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 50 pounds; standing/walking on campus and occasionally with objects up to 25 pounds; and sitting at computer workstation for extended periods.


Monday Friday during normal business hours, some nights/weekends are required.

Job Summary

The College of Fine Arts at the University of Kentucky seeks a dynamic, visionary, and team-oriented Director for the Singletary Center for the Arts. This position is the Centers primary academic, administrative, and public advocate, and reports to the Dean of the College of Fine Arts. The Director should be an accomplished administrator, experienced with strategic planning and building relationships, and possess a commitment to advancement of the Arts. A substantial record of administration in the arts and significant leadership experience is required. Incumbent will also teach one course annually in the area of their expertise.
