Job Summary | Senior quality improvement nurse overseeing the cardiothoracic surgery quality database (Society of Thoracic Surgery, STS) and staff. This position extracts cardiothoracic surgery patient risk factors, surgical risk factors and patient outcomes after surgery from the electronic medical record and through communication with the patient and family. Will supervise non-nursing staff doing the same. Report results externally and internally. Aid Division Chief in identifying areas for improvement and drilling down on data. |
