Job Summary | The library student assistant is responsible for a variety of work at the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History in the Special Collections Division. Duties include describing interviews/collections, data entry, editing/auditing oral history transcripts, digitization and preservation of audio and video, database entry and other duties as assigned |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Student must have strong writing skills. Must also have attention for details, editing skills and the ability to follow department procedures and policies and to work without close supervision be able to work with materials in different formats. Student must maintain a regular work schedule. |

Preferred Education/Experience | Basic computer proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications, as well as familiarity with metadata and content management systems such as Blogger, WordPress, and SlideShare. |
