A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. Youll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.Our Process Improvement and Management team helps identify opportunities and utilise lean methodologies that facilitate process improvement and efficient resource management. As part of our team, youll help evaluate existing systems within accounts receivable and payable, financial management and merchandise chargebacks to identify optimisation opportunities.


As a Senior Manager, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients
  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
  • Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria
  • Train, coach, and supervise team members
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand

Additional Educational Preferences: 

Organizational Human Capital, Organizational Behavior, Resource Management, People Management, Agile and Lean/Six Sigma.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills: 

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success in governance and people management in the following areas:

  • Serving as a trusted advisor to leaders while focused on accelerating the development of people & delivering to done on key projects and initiatives; 
  • Providing specialization to build and maintain governance structure to maximize resource sharing and enable the delivery of priority projects and initiatives; 
  • Uncovering and managing the skill sets, talents, and desires of the organization proactively; 
  • Making staffing decisions while considering individual development needs, career interests, and broad-based experiences; 
  • Leading team, in partnership with scrum masters and others to understand, monitor, prioritize, and re-prioritize project needs and body of work; 
  • Being people-focused and having the ability to balance relationships with strategic and process oriented results;
  • Negotiating and resolving conflicts within the team and with stakeholders;
  • Maintaining a bold yet relatable point of view;
  • Demonstrating experience in analytics and data management with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, etc.; and,
  • Leveraging Agile methods and approaches (Scrum, Kanban, etc), and Six Sigma.
