Position Description:
Position Purpose:
The Online Investigations Data Analyst will be responsible for analytics support, ad-hoc data requests, and developing and maintaining analytics tools to support the Online Investigations team for project work across the various methods of fraud and cybercrime. This individual should possess strong data mining skills, have proficiency with data query tools as SQL, BQ or Tableau, and be familiar with the tools and technology used by the Online Investigations Team, Online Contact Center and Customer Care Team to support evolving needs. In addition, this individual will be responsible for delivering reports and evidentiary data to the team to support investigations. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to transfer analysis research into comprehensive and understandable reports. The Online Investigations Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional business partners to enhance reporting (AMP, Legal, Credit Services, etc.).
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
70% Fraud Detection Analysis - Proactive research to identify new fraud or sources of loss; Analysis of data for the purpose of detecting fraudulent activity
20% Fraud Assessment and Support - Develop or update queries to respond to changing fraud trends or ad-hoc requests
10% Internal Collaboration / Partnership - Actively engage in ongoing training and development programs; cross-functional collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders
Nature and Scope:
This Position typically reports to Manager of Corporate Security

Environmental Job Requirements:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
