Job Description
Partner Affairs is comprised of Partner Admissions, Firm Governance, Partner Compensation, Partner Talent Management, Partner Development, Administration, HRIS/IT/Web and National Benefits.

National Benefits supports PwC partners and staff leading to enhanced personal health and financial well-being; and the firm by providing competitive, progressive, efficient and compliant benefit programs.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs including:

- Understanding of employee benefit plan strategy, design and rules, including ERISA, health and welfare plan administration and corresponding regulations, leave of absence policy, administration and federal and local laws regarding leaves, life insurance and other insured plan regulations;
- Demonstrating knowledge of FMLA and ADA and other federal and state regulations;
- Working with all levels from senior level partner to associate;
- Managing multiple projects at different phases in tandem;
- Leveraging strategic and critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills; and,
- Leveraging strategic and critical thinking, problem solving, analytical, organizational and project management skills.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs including:

- Demonstrating the ability to be detail oriented as well as possessing effective communication skills;
- Leveraging strategic and critical thinking, problem solving, analytical, organizational and project management skills;
- Willing and being able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment;
- Possessing confidentiality and high standard of ethics;
- Interacting with Partners, Staff, Retirees, Attorneys (both in-house and outside counsel) and upper management;
- Demonstrating prior experience in HR, HR Shared Services, and/or HR policies;
- Managing health and welfare insurance benefits in a large organization where the benefits administration was outsourced to a third party vendor;
- Outsourcing arrangements and the vendor interactions that result from these arrangements;
- Leveraging MS Office and Google suite experience such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, etc;
- Monitoring all firm compliance measures related to the contractual and legal aspects of benefits plan administration;
- Establishing and monitoring performance guarantees with vendors;
- Preparing budgets and reviewing with a goal of keeping cost increases to a minimum while maintaining quality and value with vendors;
- Processing vendor audits for contractual and financial compliance;
- Resolving partner, staff and retiree policies and vendor issues successfully;
- Having performance monitored by positive feedback from human capital and other internal stakeholders as well as partners, staff and retirees on firm programs and vendor satisfaction surveys; and,
- Processing external benchmarking of firm programs to demonstrate competitiveness and alignment with firm strategy and objectives of employee benefits philosophy.
