What You'll Do Here:
As part of the Global Brand & Creative team and reporting to the Creative Director, youll drive your own assignments, while working collaboratively with other creatives, brand strategists, and project managers. You will play a critical role in driving our video storytelling strategy, drive the animation/production of video, as well as static creative assets across our portfolio of brands - including LastPass, GoTo, and Rescue, among others. Youll also support other marketing and communications initiatives where video is a key component.
Responsibilities and expectations:
- Concept, develop and produce compelling motion, video and animation work for various content and motion pieces.
- Strategically builds and presents storyboards, pre-animation.
- Edit full-show packages for live events opens, transitions, title sequences, etc.
- Properly navigates compression and format needs for live broadcast, web, email etc.
- Executes superior design skills while telling stories through visuals in a variety of styles and aesthetics
- Manages ongoing projects simultaneously
- Strong command of all social/digital media platforms, including specs and deliverables and common formats
- Working knowledge of DSLR and Video cameras, lighting, and sound
- Excel in the creation of video/artwork that delivers marketing and brand results
- Proficient in preparing final video files for required campaign channels
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of 3D Modeling and rendering software a plus (Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender, Dimension etc)
- Animatic illustration
- Audio/sound editing experience
What the ideal fit looks like:
- A strong portfolio showing a range of motion/video/editing and design experience.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in a comparable motion graphic design/animation and video editing role
- Bachelors degree in film and advertising, interactive or another design-related program preferred
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Premier, Illustrator
- Exceptional eye for typography, composition, and color
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Great communicator, listener; eager to create and expand skillset
- Strong critical-thinking skills to solve design problems
- Able to work well both in a collaborative team environment either remotely or in person
- You are agile, manage your creative time well and pivot back-and-forth across projects.
- A strong, strategic understanding of the fundamentals of brand development
