Physical Requirements

This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; working at heights above four feet or in confined spaces; and some job-related travel (less than 10% of time). Also involves some risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials.

Shift

Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. As an exempt-level position, additional outside hours including evenings and weekends may be required in order to meet job or departmental business needs.

Job Summary

The Office of the Executive Vice President for Health Affairs works to achieve and fulfill UK HealthCare’s mission and vision through organization wide strategic planning and project execution. This position will work directly with senior-level administrators to advance leadership’s priorities, lead multiple teams, and be responsible for the timely completion of actions and projects.
