Job Summary | The Markey Cancer Center (MCC) is seeking a Regulatory Coordinator for the MCC Research Network (MCCRN) As Kentucky’s only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center, the UK Markey Cancer Center (MCC) is equipped to deliver leading-edge cancer care and engage in groundbreaking research. The MCC is committed to reducing cancer mortality and the burden of disease through comprehensive programs and collaborations in cancer research, treatment and education. Through the MCC Research Network (MCCRN), we bring access to important research studies into the communities we serve. The MCCRN Regulatory Coordinator supports regulatory activities of the program and portfolio conducted at external partner facilities located throughout Kentucky and surrounding Appalachia, including therapeutic and non-therapeutic trials. Position duties include regulatory coordination for the program, studies and sites, serve as a resource to investigative teams, manage regulatory documents and submissions to IRBs, facilitate IRB assurances, site study start-up, maintain trial master files, maintain network membership files, training, site visits, assist Study Chairs and Clinical Research Project Managers to assure the regulatory quality management of trials, as applicable interface with MCC CRO and QA team. The Regulatory Coordinator serves as the primary liaison to sites for regulatory management, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality. The Regulatory Coordinator ensures quality services to MCCRN sites and UK MCC faculty and staff. This is a remote/work from home based position with access to a central office collaboration or periodic in person work activities. Duties require application of knowledge of CFR and ICH, SOPs.
