Position Description:
The Master Trainer schedules, manages, and enterprise-wide learning events for Contact Center associates through various methods including distance learning technologies and leader-led events. The Master Trainer has at least 2 years of experience working in the role of Learning and/or Leadership. The Master Trainer partners with the learning design and delivery teams as a subject matter expert to create and update training courses focused on the needs of associates in the areas of operations, product knowledge, and customer service. The Master Trainer serves as a project lead for Learning projects or ad-hoc webinar requests and is responsible for the planning, organizing, and controlling of those projects. The Master Trainer demonstrates initiative, leadership, a high level of work quality, and project management abilities.


  • 60%- Facilitation of training and development programs by utilizing virtual instruction and/or live leader led classes
  • 20%- Performing administrative duties including calendar planning, responding to field questions, conducting peer reviews, and other duties as needed
  • 20%- Participating in special projects as assigned

  • This position reports to Manager of Learning Execution.
  • This position has no direct reports.
Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.


Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years

Physical Requirements:
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate and present information effectively to various groups within the organization (both webinar and face-to-face)

  • Ability to learn new information and processes quickly
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • At least 3 years prior experience in related field (Training and Development, Leadership, and Human Resources)
  • 2 years prior THD experience and/or good understanding of organization culture
  • Knowledge of and comfort with various technology devices (i.e., computers, tablets, projectors, cellular phones) and platforms (i.e., Windows, Apple - IOS, Learning Management System)
