Job Summary | UK Libraries Marketing and Graphic Design Interns develop skills in digital marketing and graphic design by helping to create and deploy promotional and informational materials, such as brochures, flyers and invitations, for various library events, services and resources. These students will also work hands-on with UK Libraries’ social media platforms, taking on a creative role in the development of a consistent posting schedule and a unique brand voice, while also fostering strong student engagement. Internships span the academic year and may begin as early as May 2021. Some assignments will be project-focused, so weekly hours may vary based on deadlines and upcoming library events. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Some familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or another creative platform Some familiarity with current and emerging social media platforms, such as, Twitter, Instagam, Facebook, TikTok and/or YouTube Photography Strong communication skills |
