Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE

The MDO Implementation Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing, executing and supporting tasks associated with implementing warehouse management system, go lives and projects for the downstream One Supply Chain platform- MDO (Market Delivery Operations).

Project tasks may include managing/executing/supporting all aspects of systems testing and readiness, train the trainer training, go live and post go live systems support. This individual will serve as a Project lead, POC for site, all around Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will own the success of project rollout. This position will provide guidance and leadership related to systems to the site leaders and associates, and any other resources assigned to project.

The qualified candidate must have the ability to operate with minimal supervision and once given general assignments, prioritizes and executes tasks. Provides and communicates recommendations to upper management. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support and lead multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well with a team, interact with multiple levels and functions within the Supply Chain organization.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 25% Ensure communication and feedback is provided to operations and Store Support Center teams on System Performance, Systems Enhancements and Issues Management

  • 25% Develop project plans and manage the execution of system implementation activities
  • 20% Provide feedback, direction and mentorship to junior resources on job performance and career development
  • 20% Provide system support, operational/functional expertise to site users and documentation of lessons learned
  • 10% Building strong relationships between the various stakeholders and customers involved in project.


    NATURE AND SCOPE

    • Reports to Sr. Manager, Director Sr. Director or VP
    • Typically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.
    • Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches.
    • Typically considers new courses of action within broad policies and medium-term goals when solving problems.
    • Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.


      ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
      Environment:
      Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

      Typically requires overnight travel 75% of the time.

      Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
      Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.
