As a Manager in the Unified Communication & Collaboration (UCC) vertical, you will play a key role in leading a team in developing and maintaining complex Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) production software for our GoTo products. The role requires strong hands on technical skills to lead a team of technical experts and influence technical solutions and manage & motivate the team to achieve targeted goals.This position will be responsible for projects that are complex, challenging, and exciting.

You will be part of a (geo-distributed) team in an agile environment, and by working closely with your team members - developers, architects and other key stakeholders, you will help achieve functionality critical to our business success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a product development team to lead & deliver awesome features, new capabilities for LogMeIns GoTo product.

  • Drive the next generation of our frontend architecture of our GoTo product focusing on security and scale.

  • Help team in implementation, debug, & troubleshoot complex frontend solutions.

  • You collaborate with Product Owners, UX and set appropriate goals & tasks to your team members and help achieve to deliver high quality web applications

  • Keep on top of emerging front-end development methods and technologies and suggest to team to leverage the same.

  • Work in a cross-functional Agile development team.

  • Hire team members, mentor them and be responsible for their performance & career pathing.

  • Independent technical contribution(60%) & people management(40%).

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Hands on experience in browser extension and frontend development with the following technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, Redux-Saga or any other modern-day frontend stack.

  • Hands on experience in Java, J2EE skills, and current frameworks (Spring, Spring Cloud, MicroServices, etc).

  • You have experience with AWS technologies and both SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • Experience with version control, build and bug tracking systems such as Jenkins,BitBucket, and JIRA.Follow industry best CI/CD practices.

  • Experience implementing, unit testing, debugging and integrating code of high complexity.

  • Experience in leading teams in architecting & designing complex SaaS applications (preferably end to end backend & frontend components)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Very good collaboration skills with distributed-geo teams.

  • Possess good planning, tracking, & risk management experience.

  • Must have people management experience of leading team (directly reporting to you) for at least 2 years.

  • Bachelors degree in computer science with a minimum of 7 years of directly related work experience.
