**Description**



**About the Role:**



The
Manager, Data & Analytics will lead the development of insightful and
actionable analytical solutions to support digital business and customer
experience initiatives helping shape both the site and digital engagement
strategy in alignment with overall corporate/financial objectives. He/she will interface with senior business
leadership as well as other internal clients to understand business objectives
and ensure deliverables are aligned.







This
role requires an excellent collaborator, communicator, and manager with a
strong bias towards data-based decision making. The successful candidate is a
problem solver in a fast-moving and highly diverse environment with a strong
background in e-commerce and its mechanics. Furthermore, a successful candidate
will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy
and timeliness are not compromised. In addition to strong analytical skills,
they must be adept at communicating findings to senior leadership in both verbal
and presentation formats. They must be comfortable managing in a cross
functional environment and have experience partnering with technical teams to
deliver results.








**Qualifications**

**PrimaryResponsibilities:**









+ Define the Customer Experience strategy and roadmap inalignment with overall corporate/financial objectives

+ Produce and streamline regular Customer experience reporting(complete with key insights and recommendations). Recommend additionaldeep dive analytics as appropriate.

+ Building & executing business cases for key growthinitiatives and shaping product roadmaps.

+ Build models and what-if scenarios to forecast andtrack impact from initiatives.

+ Provide analytics support for Staples digital mediaspend including optimizing media spend distribution across vehicles.

+ Provide detailed insight into Staples customerbehavior. Provide business owners with insights & recommendations intohow to optimize customer metrics and financials.

+ Work closely with and effectively communicate with allkey business stakeholders across the organization: Product Management,Merchandising, Marketing and Finance, Pricing and Sales.

+ Drive incremental sales and margin through improvedreporting / streamlined processes as well as new initiatives to achievefinancial targets.

+ Perform value added ad-hoc analysis/reporting insupport of the business unit objectives and initiatives.







**Basic:**









+ Masters degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketingor another related field.

+ eCommerce, Marketing, Merchandising and/or Projectmanagement experience.

+ Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.

+ 7 years of Customer analytics, Site Analytics and/orFinancial Analysis

+ Strong interpersonal and presentation skills as well asdemonstrated experience in fact-based analysis, including the ability topersuasively present insights and recommendations to senior management.

+ Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinkingskills; strong bias towards data-based decision making with the ability tobreak down complex problems and formulate plans.

+ Understanding of site merchandising, customerexperience, sales and margin objectives.

+ Pro-active and self-motivated work style with provenability to collaborate broadly with flexible, positive attitude to getresults within a cross-functional team.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and changingpriorities with demonstrated track record of strong execution andexperience partnering with technical teams to deliver results.

+ Knowledge of various data mining techniques, effectivevisualizations, and data presentation. Hands on experience with SQL and Tableau.Alteryx knowledge is a plus.
