RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages activities of Benefits Operations teams to ensure delivery, client satisfaction and retention.
- Ensures quality standards are met through applications, procedures, and peer review. Supervises and allocates resources for delivery of Benefits Operations in keeping with client requirements and schedules.
- Resolves priority conflicts and potential issues surrounding scope and responsibilities of Benefits Operations team members.
- Engages with all clients and provides consultative expertise to clients as necessary.
- Works directly with clients in escalated situations and manages client expectations at an executive level with documented tracking and improvement plans.
- Initiates and directs plans to improve client profitability.
- Ensures that the Benefits Operations associates resolve service issues affecting client and initiates/tracks plans for improvement of unacceptable survey scores.
- Responsible for client service budgetary expense in line with projected plans.
- Manages or coordinates with others to ensure that contracts, SLA's, invoicing, etc. are current. Reviews/approves change controls.
- Coordinates annual enrollment project for all clients within Benefits Operations.
- Enforces all required standards and procedures across service areas.
- Participates in decision-making process within client service organization, as required, concerning client support issues and procedures.
- Management responsibility for operational service delivery, including availability of trained backups.
- Accountable for associate satisfaction and retention.
- Determines staffing needs, prepare career development plans, conducts performance evaluations and provides performance feedback.
- Provide recommendations for salary increases and promotions.
- Engages with qualified resources as necessary to assist in balancing workloads, subject matter expertise and performance management.
- Partners with counterparts in other ADP product areas to provide coordinated service to clients.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent in education and experience
- Eight to ten years of related implementation, account management, or operational experience with benefits, human resources information system and/or system implementation.
- Experience with leading custom communication campaigns and projects is highly preferred.
- Ability to undertand data and data concepts preferred.
- Proven proficiency in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems of all levels of complexity, prioritizing critical client issues and identifying department needs.
- Management skills with supervision and HR related skills
- Ability to manage client service of high complexity with multiple applications.
- Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve issues affecting Benefits Operations.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to coordinate the work of others to accomplish general objectives.
- Ability to manage both time and client conflict resolution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong computer and technical skills.
- Must be visible and regularly communicate with front line associates and with clients on an ongoing basis.
